Owl Manufacturing is not your typical high school course. Owl Mfg is a functioning company run by the students. The employees of Owl Manufacturing go through an interview process to be accepted into the company but, before you can start the application process you have to complete and pass the Introduction To Advanced Manufacturing course. The students are held to the same standards any factory would hold theirs, and that includes following safety procedures, having good attendance, and getting their work done to the best of their ability. Students receive real-world skills that will enable them to get a job in the manufacturing Industry of today. Some of the things the students will learn are: quoting jobs, ordering materials, manufacturing parts, quality control and inspections, shipping products, receiving products and materials, invoicing, customer service, accounting, marketing, and maintaining work hours.
